PERSONALITY

Rania has come a long ways from an obnoxious, farting blob. Though she has toned down over the couple of years, the girl still carries little elegance. She still as witty and sarcastic as ever and snorts even to her own jokes. She can also be very stubborn at times. Rania enjoys the company of others and is very forgiving. Poor girl gives everybody the benefit of the doubt.

In contrary to what her mother had advise her, Rania still continues eat an excessive amount of junk food and break out into random embarrassing dances. She does not enjoy the rigorous daily routine of proper skin care and painting of the face. Through poking and prodding, Rania will put on makeup and/or fix her hair just to get people to shut up. However, she's not very good at any of those tasks.

She tends to give people the impression that she is shameless and doesn’t care for much. In reality, Rania cannot stand looking at herself. She is often teased for how she presents herself. When referring to any of her traits, Rania becomes very critical and never satisfied with the way she looks or sounds. Her voice is neither high nor low but either way, she is convinced that she sounds like a man. Often times, Rania will try to avoid subjects that pertain to her.

HISTORY

The delightful story of Rania Wigglebottom started off in a dreary place, North Korea. Her father was a border soldier, which made it perfect for her parents’ long waited escape. Carrying nothing but what was on their backs, the couple successfully snuck over the border between North and South Korea. Unfortunately, the refugees were mistaken as North Koreans spies and were killed on the spot. Only after the discovering of the crying child, did they realize they were wrong.

They placed the child in an orphanage and gave her a simple name: Mi Ran. She spent about 3 years there before an American family adopted the child. In attempt to Americanize herself, Mi Ran asked her older sisters to pick a name. Being only 8, she didn’t realize how awful that idea that was, especially when the family’s surname is Wigglebottom. Ergo, her social security papers says Rania Mi-Ran Wigglebottom.

Nothing to do with her race or origins, Rania excelled in school. She competed in various competitions that involved making her own inventions. Turns out, Rania had been adopted by a family who lived and breathed sci-fi and a family vacation meant a trip to weekends at conventions or to sci-fi exhibits. She was later accepted in a prestigious private college well known for their science department.

Two years into university, she was recruited. Despite her having twice the failed inventions than successful inventions, the agency was intrigued by her oddity and her unrelenting constancy of will and passion for science. When she was approached by Agent Uno, Rania couldn’t be more interested in joining. She didn’t want to pass up the opportunity to broaden her scientific experiments. Ergo, she accepted the offe.

How she discovered her ability

Having been fascinated by Star Trek Enterprise, Rania had always wanted to replicate the transporter on the ship, or rather a miniature version. Because of a miscalculation and a tight budget, when Rania made a test run, the device let out a bright flash and stopped functioning afterwards. Like all her failed experiments, Rania placed it with the junk so that one day, she could use the leftover functioning parts.

Rania had this tendency to stick things between her bosoms, be it money or just a cup, but it soon decreased as her stuff began to magically disappear. It started of with small stuff like wads of dollar bills or notes. When she went to retrieve them, she they were nowhere to be seen. She did everything but stuck her hands in her own cleavage to find them. Atlas, it was no good. It wasn’t until she stuck a cup of jumba juice in her cleavage did she find out about the warped reality. In about five seconds, the cup was gone. Like the scientific troublemaker that she is, Rania began to run experiments on her own to find out the properties of this reality. Though she has not shared this information with anybody else. Needless to say, it’s very awkward to tell people to stick things into her cleavage and watch it disappear.
